What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours in a safe and confidential setting. Through meaningful conversations, it can help you manage stress, improve relationships, and develop coping strategies for life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or simply looking to understand yourself better, psychotherapy offers a nurturing environment for personal growth and healing. It’s a journey towards a more fulfilling life.

My journey to becoming a psychotherapist began with a foundation in nursing science and teaching, which profoundly shaped my understanding of the diversity of human experience. Living and studying in Ireland, as well as across Canada, has enriched my perspective, allowing me to appreciate the diverse experiences and challenges that individuals face.
My lived experiences, including those as a single parent, navigating a child’s serious illness, neurodiversity and coping with the loss of a sibling to terminal illness, have deepened my empathy and understanding of life's complexities. These experiences fuelled my desire to provide more direct and meaningful support to others, leading me to complete my training in psychotherapy. I continue to engage in professional development.
I value a simple life, enriched by travel adventures, family time, and engaging walks with my dogs. With compassion and empathy, I aspire to help individuals navigate their own unique journeys towards a more fulfilling life.
